Wales Co-operative Centre celebrates its 30th Anniversary
We celebrated our 30th anniversary at Cardiff City Hall in June, with around 100 guests from the business and community development sectors as well as past and present staff. Edwina Hart AM, Minister for Business Enterprise Technology and Science, gave the keynote address to the packed hall. Guests also enjoyed hearing from clients including Swansea Care and Repair, Aber Instruments employee buy out and Saith Seren community pub in Wrexham.

Recently inaugurated President of The Wales TUC, A.J. Singh, praised the approach of the Centre since the TUC helped found it back in 1982. The Centre’s Chair, David Jenkins, and fellow board member David White received a gift of thanks for 30 years service. Guests celebrated with a 30th birthday cake following a networking lunch.
Three new Directors were also appointed following elections at the AGM. We welcome John Hughes, Amy Sanders and Susan Thomas and thank outgoing board members.
