International Co-operative Alliance Expo 2012

Join us at Expo the Interantional Co-operative Alliance trade fair in Manchester 31 October - 2 November 2012. Expo is part of a week long festival Co-operatives United. The festival is to celebrate the International Year of Co-operatives and is at the Manchester Convention Centre.
Co-operatives in Wales
Wales is part of the UK and home to around 350 co-operatives, employing approximately 7000 people and producing everything from solar energy panels to organic dairy products. It is home to the world famous Tower Colliery and birthplace of Robert Owen. Co-operatives generate £1 billion a year for the Welsh economy. Wales is also a great place to start a co-operative, with excellent business support and a devolved Welsh Government.
Co-operative businesses and organisations from around the world will be exhibiting at the Expo. We will be on stand F5 promoting co-operatives from Wales and helping them build trading relationships as well as promoting Wales as a great place to start a co-operative business. Along with the work of the Wales Co-operative Centre, the stand will showcase
