Social Enterprise Awards Wales Shortlist announced
The shortlist for the annual Social Enterprise Awards Wales has been announced this week. The shortlisted nominees include a credit union, a facilities management social enterprise, digital accessibility resource, a recycling co-operative and a community renewables social enterprise.
The winners will be announced at a gala luncheon in Prestatyn on Friday 19th October.
The Social Enterprise Awards Wales is a national competition designed to celebrate the amazing work done by Welsh social enterprises and help raise the profile of the sector in Wales and beyond. The Social Enterprise Awards Wales consist of four categories and three nominees have been shortlisted for each category.

Social Enterprise Supporter of the Year
- Coalfields Regeneration Trust (Pontypridd)
- St Illtyds Communities 1st Partnership (Abertillery)
- City and County of Swansea
Wales Co-operative Centre Chief Executive Derek Walker congratulated each of the nominees on their success, “More than ever before, this year’s social enterprise awards demonstrate the breadth and versatility of the sector.
